Deckard Sorensen
Co-founder & President
Deckard Sorensen is the Co-Founder and President of NBD Nanotechnologies, where he oversees business development, customer acquisition, operational finance and budgeting. Deckard first developed the idea for NBD Nano while studying biomimicry – looking to nature for inspiration of sustainable technological solutions. He is a Biomimicry Fellow, and member of the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC). Deckard was awarded with Boston.com’s The Hive 25 Under 25 in 2013: Original Article. Deckard was also named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Energy List in 2015: Original Article. Deckard received his BSc. in Biology c. BioInformatics with a Minor in Hispanic Studies from Boston College.
