Deckard oversees the company’s product development, operational finance, and business & strategic growth strategy. He has a leadership role in transforming innovative ideas into commercialized products. In 2015, Deckard was named a Forbes 30 under 30 and previously was named a 25 under 25 by Boston.com. Deckard received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College.

Miguel is responsible for exploring advanced innovations, new market segments and strategic partnerships. Prior to founding NBD Nano, Miguel worked as an associate at Techstars, an early stage seed fund and startup accelerator. Miguel holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Boston College.

Perry is responsible for the company’s chemical operations, compliance and manufacturing. Prior to joining NBD Nano, Perry held senior management positions at Prime Organics, Polaroid Corporation, and Functional Pharmaceuticals. Perry holds a BS in Chemistry from Jackson State University, MS in Organic Chemistry from Atlanta University and MBA from Northeastern University.

Nina is responsible for managing all sales activities. Prior to joining NBD, she held numerous sales and business development roles with Silicon Valley companies bringing them from start-up to established growth. Nina holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Toledo.

Fouad leads the research and development efforts for NBD. He directs the R&D teams with budget approvals, scheduling, and deadline management. Additionally, he is working with the sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing — to bring new products from the research and development side to market. Fouad holds a PhD in Polymer Science from the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility in collaboration with the French Atomic Center. He worked for multiple worldwide corporations—ICI (Imperial Chemical Indus., UK Wilton Ctr) to develop next nanocomposites generation for touch screen applications, ICI (National Starch & Chemical) R&D US HQ and lastly, Henkel to develop adhesive materials for electronics and automotive applications. He published numerous patents and publications in the polymer/nanotechnology fields.

Dr. Zhang leads the company’s new product research and development efforts that develop highly unique formulations and novel coatings and additives. He has been published extensively and holds several material patents. Bong June holds a BS/MS in Chemistry from Korea University and Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from University of Nevada- Reno.

Dr. Hu develops new formulations for the advanced coatings solutions. Prior to joining NBD Nano, Hui worked as a Postdoctoral at ORNL and held Senior Scientist positions at Selah Technologies, Chase Corporation and Netzsch Instruments. Hui hold a B.A. and M.S. from Fudan University, and a Ph.D from University of Kentucky.

Kevin is responsible for product testing and validation as well as developing application methodologies. Kevin plays a key role preparing material samples for customers. Prior to joining NBD Nano, Kevin held co-op positions at Cabot Corporation and GVD Corporation. Kevin holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University.

Nikhil is a Reasearch and Development Engineer responsible for manufacturing and characterizing products, development of new synthetic routes, and troubleshooting of manufacturing issues. Nikhil has a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University in India and a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

Dr. Rosen is responsible for the energy and biomedical markets. Prior to joining NBD Nano, Jonathan founded several biomedical startup companies and is an Adjunct Professor at Boston University. Jonathan holds a BSE, MS Materials Science from the University of Michigan, MBA from Columbia and Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Case Western Reserve University.

Byron is the company's Operations Manager in Asia, acting as the liason between the US team and partners across Asia. He has been in China for the past 15 years assisting multiple companies with operations, logistics and manufacturing in Asia.
